Located in Thunder Bay Ontario, Sullivan + Associates Clinical Psychology is a large private practice clinic.

rotation experiences

Assessments:

  • Psychological (mental health), Psychoeducational, and Neuropsychological assessments, including  ADHD, learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and FASD.
  • Opportunities to complete diagnostic assessments for Workplace Safety Insurance Board and Motor Vehicle Accident Insurers.  
  • Assessment opportunities with school boards (local, surrounding region, remote indigenous school boards)


Psychotherapy:

  • Opportunities to provide psychotherapy to Children, adolescents, and adults (diverse populations, wide range of problem types). 
  • Opportunities to gain experience with different therapeutic modalities, including CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and DBT.

Supervision:

  • Opportunity to supervise graduate students  

Consultation:

  • Opportunity to provide consultations to local agencies and school boards

Community Education:

  • Opportunity to participate in various community education initiatives, including mental health workshops, articles/videos for various media outlets (print, online, television)

Additional Opportunities:

  • Opportunity to participate in charitable events to support local mental health initiatives
  • Monthly group supervision led by clinical psychologist
