This is a day for all Canadians to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Mรจtis peoples.

Kenora:
Boozhoo friends! Mark your calendars for our National Indigenous Peoples Day - Honouring our Graduates Pow-Wow. Celebrate the success of our students and wish them well.
Date: Wednesday, June 21, 2023 (National Indigenous Peoples Day), Grand Entries at 1pm and 7pm
Location: Kenora Recreation Centre - Kenora, ON
Who should attend: Open to the public. No RSVP necessary.
Host Drum: Mo'Town Singers
Invited Drums: Battle Nation, Red Cloud & Hanisha
Hosted in partnership with our friends at Ne-Chee Friendship Centre.

Fort William First Nation, Anemki Wajiw Mount McKay. The day will include a pow wow, entertainment, crafters and feast. The event is free, and all are welcome!

- 5:30am Sunrise Ceremony with Elder John Gagnon (the sun rises at 5:56am)
- 12pm Opening Ceremonies
- 1pm Grand Entry
- 5pm Feast
